Introduction - Ayurvedic Tours in South India
Ayurveda is probably the biggest gift that India has endowed upon the world. It is the oldest branch of medicine that originated in ancient India and spread itself till present and will continue to future. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that comes from two words 'Ayur', which means life and 'Veda' meaning science. In south India one can easily find the rejuvenation by this method. The South Indian Destination are famous for its variation in Ayurvedic methods.
Day 01: MUMBAI

Upon arrival at Chhattrapati Shivaji International airport, meet & greet by our Representative & you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Mumbai, which was previously known as Bombay is a major metropolitan city of India. It is the state capital of Maharashtra. Mumbai city is known as the business capital of India, it being the country's principal financial and communications centre. The city has the largest and the busiest port handling India's foreign trade and a major Interntional airport. India's largest Stock Exchange which ranks as the third largest in the world is situated in Mumbai. Here, trading of stocks is carried out in billions of rupees everyday.Discription about Mumbai can not be complete without the mention of Bollywood, the biggest Indian film industry which churns out hundreds of Hindi block-busters every year.
Day 02: MUMBAI
After breakfast at hotel proceed to visit Elephant caves.
The Elephanta Caves is located on island hills about 11 km north-east of the Apollo Bandar, Mumbai and 7 km from the shore of the mainland, approximately covering an area of 7 km in circumference. The island is named after a colossal elephant found in the island, which is popularly known as ‘Gharapuri’. At present, the statue of elephant is housed at Jijamata Garden in Mumbai.
There are seven cave excavations in the Elephanta group and these are datable from circa 6th – 7th centuries A.D. Among the cave excavations, the Cave 1 is the most impressive which represents the evolved Brahmanical rock-cut architecture. The cave is also famous for the exquisite and vibrant sculptures.
Afternoon visit Gateway of India (Mumbai’s most famous Monument), Dhobi Ghats, Hanging Gardens. Back to the hotel after sightseeing.

Day 03: Mumbai - Chennai
Today morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board your flight for Chennai. Upon arrival in Chennai transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you will visiting the various tourist places of Chennai such as Amir Mahal, Anna Zoological Park, Fort Museum, Snake Park, Marina Beach and etc. Overnight stay will be in hotel.
Day 04: Chennai – Kanchipuram - Chennai
After having breakfast, you will be taken to Kanchipuram for excursion. Kanchipuram is known as the city of thousand temples, it is one of the seven most sacred Hindu pilgrimage centers. The highlights are the 108 Shiva temples, 18 Vaishnava temples and Adi Shankararchya's Ashram. This small town is also famous for its thriving handloom and cotton industry and silk weavers known for their skills in producing best silk sarees in the entire country. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Chennai - Mahabalipuram

In the morning, you will be driven to Mahabalipuram. Check into a hotel as soon as you reach there. In the evening you will be visiting the various tourist spots of Mahabalipuram such as Shore Temple, Varah Cave, Arjuna's Penance etc.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Mahabalipuram
Full day free for leisure activities on the beach. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Mahabalipuram - Thanjavur
Today morning you will be driven to Tanjavur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In afternoon proceed for the city tour visiting the various tourist spots of Tanjavur such as Archeological Museum, Brihadeshwara Temple, and Tanjavur Paintings etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Thanjavur - Swamimalai
Today, you will be driven to Swamimalai, upon arrival check into the hotel on reaching Swamimalai. Rest of the day free to relax yourself and explore Swamimalai. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09 to Day 13: Ayurvedic Treatment in Swamimalai
Next four days will be spent in taking Ayurvedic treatments at the spa in Swamimalai. This will make you completely refreshed and rejuvenated, and you will feel a new persona inside you.
Day 14: Swamimalai - Trichy
Today you will be driven to Trichy, upon arrival check into the hotel. In the afternoon, you will be visiting the various tourist spots of Trichy such as Rock cut temple, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple and St' John's Church etc.Overnight stay at the hotel..
Day 15: Trichy - Chennai
After breakfast, you will get transfer to the airport to board your flight for Chennai. Upon arrival in Chennai board your international flight towards your own destination.
