Introduction - South India Pilgrimage Tour

South Indian states like Karnatka, Tamilnadu and Kerela are famous for the Temples of various gods including lord Shiva, Garuda, Vishnu, Mandakini and more. These temples are not only famous for its spirituality but they are rare in their architecture.Cities like Kanchipuram, Mammalpuram,Trichy, Tanjore,Badami and hosepat are world famous for the temples only.

Day 1 : Chennai
Arrive Chennai. Meeting on assistance and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram. Proceed to Mamallapuram. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Visit the Visit the Shore Temples and Arjuna's Penance, the world's biggest bas relief. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Mamallapuram - Pondicherry
Morning leave for Pondicherry by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Sightseeing of Pondicherry. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Pondicherry - Trichy
Leave for Trichy by road visiting en-route Chidambaram, Kumbakonam and Gangaikondacholapuram. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Trichy - Thanjavur - Trichy
Morning excursion to Thanjavur. Afternoon sightseeing of city visiting Srirangam and Jambukeshwara temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Trichy - Madurai
Leave for Madurai by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. . In the evening visit the Meenakshi temple to view the Aarti. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
Morning excursion to Rameshwaram. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 : Madurai - Coimbatore
Leave for Coimbatore by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Coimbatore - Ooty
Leave for Ooty by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Ooty - Nagarhole
Leave for Nagarhole by road. On arrival check-in at lodge. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 11 : Nagarhole
In the morning go on a Coracle Ride on Kabini river. The Coracle is a round native boat. In the afternoon go on a wildlife tour in the National park in jeeps / vans. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 12 : Nagarhole - Mysore
Leave for Mysore by road. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Mysore visiting Mysore palace and Chamundi hill. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Mysore
Full day excursion to Srirangapattna and Somnathpur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Mysore - Hassan
Leave for Hassan by road in the morning. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Belur and Halebid. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 : Hassan - Bangalore
Leave for Bangalore by road visitng Sravanbelgola en-route. On arrival transfer to the airport to connect flight for Chennai. Transfer to the international airport on arrival to connect flight for onward journey.
