Introduction - Exotic South India
Indian land is famous for its versatility and no other tourist destination can be better than South India. South India is a part of India consisting of several exciting destinations such as  Mahabali Puram, Kumbakonam, Kanchipuram, Cholamandalam, Alleppey, Kumarakom,Kovalam  Pondicherry ,Coorg Mysore and Ooty.These destinations have different things to offer to the travelers but one thing common among all of them is the warm hospitality with which they welcome the travelers.

Kanchipuram Temple, ChennaiDay 01: Chennai (Arrival)

Upon arrival at Chennai meet & greet to our representative at the airport & transfer to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Chennai
Morning Breakfast at hotel.  Later half day city tour of Chennai. Visit the museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays). Drive through the flowers and fruit market, High court, Fort museum, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral and Snake Park.  Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Chennai / Kanchipuram / Mahabalipuram (140 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Mahabalipuram via visit Kanchipuram.
Upon arrival at Kanchipuram visit the city.
Kanchipuram is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 temples and still has 124 shrines. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century and has paintings on the walls. Temple of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks.
After Visiting Kanchipuram continue to drive to Mahabalipuram, upon arrival check into hotel.
Afternoon Half day city tour of Mahabalipuram.  The Interesting places are Thirukadalmallai, Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas etc.
The city of Mahabalipuram is famous for the seven pagodas. Here on the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples which are the examples of Dravidian style of Architecture.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry (144 Kms & 04 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Pondicherry, upon arrival at Pondicherry check into hotel.  Evening visit the city with our Driver. 
The capital of French India before independence, Pondicherry traces its origin to Saint Agasthya, the revered sage of the south & excavation near by reveal that a Roman settlement existed here 2000 years ago. It was the theatre of many a battle between the British.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Pondicherry / Tanjore (185 Kms & 05 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Tanjore, upon arrival at Thanjore check into hotel. Evening visit the city with our Driver.
Thanjore - The beautiful Chola temple of Brihadeeshwara is capped by a monolithic cupola made of a single granite block weighting 80 tons which was taken to the top with the help of a 6 km long ramp, bronzes and handicrafts make Tanjore one of the highlights of a visit to south India.

Day 06: Tanjore / Madurai (175 Kms & 05 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Madurai, upon arrival at Madurai check into hotel. Afternoon Visit the great Meenakshi temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side) with our Driver.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Madurai – Full Day Excursion To RameshwaramMadurai Temple
Morning Breakfast at hotel.Later excursion to Rameshwaram.  
The island of Rameshwaram spreads out over a 56 km swell with gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casuarinas trees and stark palms.  This is a sacred place for Hindus since according to Ramayana; this is where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to absolve himself of the sin of killing Ravana. A dip into the sacred waters of the Agnitheertham which was calmed by Rama is a must for Hindus.
Later Back to Madurai. Overnight stay at hotel.   

Day 08: Madurai / Periyar (185 Kms & 05 Hrs Approx)
Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Periyar, upon arrival at Periyar check into hotel.
Afternoon visit Wildlife Sanctuary & enjoy boat ride at Periyar lake.
The earliest sanctuary to be set up in 1934, it extends to 777 square kms & forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Wild life can be seen while cruising on Periyar Lake in a motor boat. Amongst the animals which can be seen are elephants, wild boar, sambar, tiger, Leopard, wild dog, langur monkeys, etc.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Periyar / Alleppey (164 Kms & 4.5 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Alleppey, upon arrival at Alleppey check into AC DLX houseboat. 
The coastal town of Alleppey on the Arabian Sea is the Venice of the east, for the numerous canals that meander through the town. Bathing in the backwaters on the Vemband Lake is refreshing. This town holds a thrilling event of snake-boat race every year in August. It is also known for its cashew nuts, coir trade, rice pepper crops & coconuts.  Overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 10: Aleeppey / Cochin (63 Kms & 02 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at houseboat drive to Cochin, upon arrival at Cochin check into hotel. 
Afternoon half day city tour of Cochin.
Cochin is the natural created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside, calmer the waters are within the Harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. It has a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques and Hindu temples. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets.

Day 11: Cochin / Bangalore (By Flight)
Kathkali Dance, CochinMorning after Breakfast at hotel transfer to airport to board on flight for Bangalore.
Upon arrival at Bangalore meet at the airport & transfer to hotel.
Afternoon half day city tour of Bangalore,visit the Lal Bagh with a variety of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces & an assortment of tropical and sub-tropical herbs. Also see the Maharaja’s Palace & Government Buildings.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Bangalore / Mysore (140 Kms & 3.5 Hrs Approx)
Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Mysore, upon arrival at Mysore check into hotel.
Afternoon half day city tour of Mysore.Visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911-12. The palace is of harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art Gallery; drive put charmed hill to see Chamundeshwari temple and a panoramic view of Mysore.

Day 13: Mysore / Hassan (115 Kms & 04 Hrs Approx)
Morning after Breakfast at hotel drive to Hassan via visit Srvanabelagola. 
Sravanabelagola - The word Sravanabelagola means, `The Monk on Top of the Hill'.
A small pilgrimage town with a population of approximately 3,500 this is the most important Jain pilgrimage centre in India and the site of a huge 17 Meter high statue of Lord Bahubali and is said to be the world's tallest Monolithic statue.
After visiting Sravanbelagola continue to drive to Hassan,
Upon arrival at Hassan check into Hotel.
Hassan, the headquarters of Hassan district is a pleasant, busy little town in Karnataka. The town named after the presiding deity, goddess 'Hasanamba' was founded in the 11th century by Channa Krishnappa Naik. Located on the National Highway, linking Mangalore and Bangalore, Hassan is the most convenient base and the nearest railhead to explore Belur, Halebid and Sravanabelagola, the tourist centers of great antiquity. Apart from being a center of transport and commerce, the district is also known for its salubrious climate.

Day 14: Hassan / Bangalore
Morning Breakfast at hotel.  Visit Belur & Halaebid. Channekeshvar Temple at Belur and Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebid are one of the exuberating examples of the most artistic periods of Hindu Cultural Development in South India. Quoting the Lonely Planet: "The sculptural decorations on the superb temples even rivals the temples of Khajuraho and Konark or the best of European Gothic art".  
Later drive to Bangalore,Upon arrival at Bangalore transfer to airport to board on flight for onwards destination.
