Itinerary at a Glance : Cochin – Alleppey – Kumarakom – Periyar – Kovalam – Trivandrum
Day 01: Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin you will be received by our representative at the airport, who will assist you and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Overnight at the hotel.
Cochin: Cochin is the natural created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside, calmer the waters are within the Harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. It has a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques and Hindu temples, the Chinese Fishing Nets etc.

Day 02: Cochin
Today morning after breakfast start your city tour with Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace, check out the interiors of the palace that are decorated with the mural's from Ramayana and there are some lively displays of royal costumes and palanquins. Then proceed to the St. Francis Church built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD and is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India. Later visit Bolghatty Palace and Jewish Synagogue. In the evening back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Cochin - Alleppey
Today morning after breakfast drive (01½ hrs) to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. It is most famous for its boat races, house boats, coir products, fish and lakes. You will get the opportunity to enchant with the fishermen in the area and also venture into the lush paddy fields and will enjoy the natural beauty of the sea and the hills. Board the boat cruise and stroll back into the town past the canals covered with mauve hyacinths. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 04: Alleppey - Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast disembarks the houseboat in Kumarakom, which transports you to sheer ecstasy. It is an incredible experience to cruise in the backwaters around Kumarakom, set amidst the remote villages. Today you will be engaged in lot of adventure activities such as boating, fishing and birding.
Later in the day make a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary that is home to cormorants, teals, darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, and Siberian storks many other species of ducks. You may also spot here golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen, tree pie etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Kumarakom - Periyar
After breakfast leave (03 hrs) for Periyar, arrive & check in to the hotel. Later visit the Periyar national Park. Watching the rare and endangered species of the animals such as Asian elephants, barking deer, gaur, sambar, wild dogs and strolling in their herds, provides you the most enchanting experience of the lifetime. Apart from exploring the different species of plants and animals you can also enjoy wildlife photography. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Periyar – Kovalam

Today morning after breakfast leave (05 hrs) for the wildlife viewing of the sanctuary on the back of the elephant. After two hours of wildlife viewing get back to the hotel and leave for Kovalam, located south of Trivandrum. There are two main beaches at Kovalam, separated by a high cliff. It is finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, & recuperation & regeneration resorts which provide a slew of Ayurvedic. Upon arrival in Kovalam check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Kovalam
After breakfast at hotel full day free at leisure. You can go for water sports or Ayurvedic & SPA Therapy. Overnight stay at hotel. .
Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum
Today morning after breakfast drive (20 mnts) to Trivandrum, an ancient city with trading traditions dating back to 1000 BC. It was a trading post for spices like the rest of ancient Kerala. Here you visit the Padmanabha Swami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu is held sacred by the Hindus from antiquity. The temple has a large complex with a huge Gopuram. It has a tank beside it for ritual bathing. Later visit Sri Chittira Art Gallery, an excellent collection of Indian art with examples from early to modern schools. Paintings by Raja Ravi Varma & works from Mughal & Rajput miniature paintings & Tanjore paintings embellished with semi- precious stones are displayed.
In evening you will get in time transfer to the airport to board your flight towards onwards destination
