Qutub Minar, DelhiDay 01: DELHI
On arrival at Indira Gandhi International airport, New Delhi meet & greet by our representative & transfer to the hotel. 

New Delhi: The capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern era. Standing along the west end of Gangetic Plain and at the bank of river Yamuna this city  unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows.

Day 02: DELHI
After breakfast leave for full day city tour of Old & New Delhi visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj   Ghats, Lotus Temple, India    Gate, President   House, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Later return to hotel after sightseeing tour.

Day 03: DELHI – JAIPUR (280 KMS & 06 HRS APPROX)
After breakfast at hotel leave for Jaipur by surface & upon arrival check - in to the hotel.   Evening to shop around the illuminated old markets of this lovely city.
Jaipur is the first planned city of India, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan. The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal family. In the present date, Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. The old city of Jaipur, painted in pink, grasp the appreciation of every visitor. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur. Jaipur is the reservoir of Indian customs, traditions, civilization and legacy.

Day 04: JAIPUR

After breakfast at hotel move out to visit Amber fort on the elephant's back.
Located up on the hills that surround Jaipur this fort  sprawled along the Lake boasts of a massive complex gateways, courts, stairways , pillared pavilions, and palaces that recall the glory and wealth of Amber's association with the Mughals.

Later visit the City palace (A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jantar Mantar (consisting of outsized astronomical instruments). Return to hotel after sightseeing tour of Jaipur.

Day 05: JAIPUR – FATEHPURSIKRI – AGRA (250 KMS & 06 HRS APPROX)
After breakfast at hotel leave for Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri which was the capital of Mughal emperor for 13 years during the regime of Akbar. Later continue drive to Agra and upon arrival check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 06: AGRA – GWALIOR (125 KMS & 03 HRS APPROX)
Taj Mahal, AgraAfter breakfast at hotel proceed for the sightseeing tour to the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Taj Mahal  "the epitome of love" is a monument of immeasurable beauty". The beauty of this magnificent monument is such that it is beyond the scope of words. The thoughts that come into the mind while watching the Taj Mahal of Agra is not just its phenomenal beauty, but the immense love which was the reason behind its construction. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan got this monument constructed in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, with whom he fell in love at the first sight. The very first sight of the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance leaves one mesmerized.

Agra Fort built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone.  Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. It lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. Akbar built it as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

Later continue drive to Gwalior & upon arrival check – in to the hotel.
Steeped in the splendour of its past, the ancient capital of Gwalior has yet made a successful transition into a modern Indian city, vibrant and bustling.

Later Visit the Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal (today an archaeological museum), the Fort, temples of Sas – Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of Tansen.

Day 07: GWALIOR – ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO (275 KMS & 06 HRS APPROX)
In the morning after breakfast proceed to Khajuraho enroute visit Orchha.
Orchha’s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time & a rich legacy to the ages. For, on this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly: the palaces and the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century retain much of their pristine glory. Jahangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris has a spectacular view of soaring temple spires & cenotaphs.

Later continue drive to Khajuraho and upon arrival check – in to the hotel.

Day 08: KHAJURAHO
In the morning after breakfast move out for half day city tour to Eastern & Western temples.

In the temple architecture of India, the Khajuraho complex remains unique. One thousand years ago, under the generous and artistic patronage of the Chandela Rajput kings of Central India, 85 temples, magnificent in form and richly carved, came up on one site, near the village of Khajuraho. The amazingly short span of 100 years, from 950 AD - 1050 AD, saw the completion of all the temples, in an inspired burst of creativity. Today, of the original 85, only 22 have survived the ravages of time; these remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator.

Day 09: KHAJURAHO – BANDHAVGARH (250 KMS & 05 HRS APPROX)
Today after breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh and on arrival check-in to the hotel.

Bandhavgarh National Park cum Tiger reserve is comparatively small but very famous and mainly known for its tigers. It has typical central Indian fauna with more than 22 species of mammals. Common langur and rhesus macaque represent the primate group. Among the carnivore species jackal, Bengal fox, sloth bear, rattle, grey (small Indian) and ruddy mongoose.

The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India.  It is not only the Tiger sightseeing here, but the natural and archaeological splendor that awaits a visitor which is totally unexpected, and beyond imagination. One can also see the white tigers here.

Day 10: BANDAVGARH
Early in the morning visit the national park on the elephant's back to see the tiger. Later in the noon once again set out in the national park to enjoy the jungle safari.

Day 11: BANDHAVGARH - UMARIA (35 KMS / 01 HRS APPROX)
                 UMARIA – VARANASI (By TRAIN)
Today morning after breakfast transfer to the Umaria railway station to board on train for Varanasi. Upon arrival meet to our representative and get transfer to hotel.

Varanasi is India's cultural capital which has been the major pilgrimage destination for Hindus since ages. It is world's oldest living city and its origins are still not well known but devotees strongly believe that Ganges river in Varanasi  has the ability to take away the wrongdoings of humankind. It became flourishing trade centre when the Buddha came to Sarnath to preach his first sermon. It was a city of great wealth and religious important when the Chinese travelers Hiuen Tsang visited in the 7th century.
Evening enjoy Ganga Aarti at Ghat.

Day 12: VARANASI
Ghat Puja, VaranasiIn the early morning drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions.

Board a boat with your guide and proceed to the middle of the river to view the sunrise (subject to Weather condition) which is nothing but life time experience. Thousands of faithful come daily to the bank or ghat of Ganges to take bath and pray while in the background temples and palaces rise in tiers from the water edge.
Afternoon visit Sarnath the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century BC to 12th century AD. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum (museum closed on Friday).

Day 13: VARANASI – ALLAHABAD (140 KMS & 03 HRS APPROX)
After breakfast leave for Allahabad and upon  arrival check – in to the hotel.
An ancient and one of the holiest city since it is here that the river Ganga and Yamuna meet at the Triveni Sangam (triple stream confluence) along with the invisible river Saraswati. Its University is one of the oldest in the country like the Allahabad High Court. Emperor Akbar built a fort here in 1575. Inside the fort is Ashoka’s pillar 11 metres in height, with famous edicts inscribed on it.
Evening visit the Museum, Khusru Bagh, Ananad Bhawan (Residence of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru), Swaraj Bhawan & Jawahar planetarium.

Day 14: ALLAHABAD – LUCKNOW (240 KMS & 05 HRS APPROX)
Today morning after breakfast drive to  Lucknow & on arrival check - into the hotel.
Lucknow city is popularly known as the 'the city of Nawabs'. Situated on the banks of the river Gomti, it dates back to the time of the Suryavanshi dynasty. Lucknow the capital of Uttar Pradesh was founded by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. The era of the Nawabs bestowed Lucknow with the courteous culture as well as mouthwatering delicacies for which it is famous today.

Day 15: LUCKNOW – DELHI (By Train)
Today morning after breakfast proceed to half day city tour of Lucknow, Visit the great Imambara, Jama Masjid, Picture Gallery, The Clock Tower, Roomi Darwaza, Residency and Dilkusha Palace.  Later check out from the hotel.

Evening transfer to railway station to board the train for Delhi.

Day 16: DELHI
Today morning upon arrival at New Delhi railway station meet to our representative and get in time transfer to International airport to board on flight for your onward destination.
